Mini-fence Program

Mini-Fence®, Mini-Fencing® Mini fencing® are all trade marks of Leon Paul All refer to a system of starting fencing using foam and plastic sword with detailed lesson programs etc.

In an effort to further promote the sport of fencing in our community, the Red Deer Fencing Club has about 35 sets of Leon Paul mini-fence equipment.

The foam swords and plastic masks are an excellent way to introduce some of the elements of fencing to elementary school age children, in a safe and fun way.

This equipment will be made available to local schools that wish to have their students be able to try something new. It comes with an instruction CD Rom and manual for your phys-ed teacher; and the lessons are easy to deliver and do not require a fencing back-ground. The whole program typically takes about 3 weeks for elementary school phys-ed program, so it makes for a nice module to complement your other sports. You can also easily modify it to fit into a 2 week slot if time is tight. Contact us if you have any questions, or wish to make a booking.
